The SoldierThe soldier shuddered against the cold winds as his warm blood spilled silently through his trembling fingers. Clutching hopelessly at his wounded side the steady flow seeped through his thick coat and stained the hard packed snow.

Byrne is very protective of Cade, he worked very hard to prevent his final death, and now that he's back, he's not going to let that happen again.

Based on a shoot idea from *Nezumi-chuu

Unfortunately the original concept I had didn't really work out very well, but I think this basically captured what I was going for anyway, I just wish more than one shot had come out ok. :S

It's awesome! Also, I love how it highlights his gray skin tone being next to Cade like that. And his claws really stand out. He's got the coolest hands.

bah, I hit send before I was finished.

Yeah I love Byrne's hands too, they're still very pointy. XD I have to be so careful with them though, I'm worried every time I move them around that a claw will catch on something. :S
